Atom's iconic theme — clean, balanced, and easy on the eyes. This One Dark Codex theme is part of the Codex Dream Skin library for people who want a more personal Codex desktop background, palette, and interface atmosphere. The download includes macOS and Windows installers and does not replace official application files.
One Dark uses #5C6370 as its primary accent, with familiar developer palette conventions adapted into a complete Codex desktop skin. Background artwork, panels, borders, text hierarchy, and interaction states are coordinated, so the result is a complete Codex skin rather than a standalone wallpaper.
Download and extract the One Dark ZIP, then open the one-click installer for your operating system. The installer checks package integrity, verifies the official Codex application, and only reports success after live renderer verification.
Sign in and download the One Dark ZIP. Extract the complete macos and windows directories instead of copying only the artwork.
On macOS, double-click the .command installer named for One Dark. On Windows, open the windows directory and double-click “一键安装-Windows.bat”.
The installer validates the manifest, Codex identity, and loopback CDP endpoint before it launches Codex and verifies the live theme.
Run Diagnose to check the installation. Use Restore to return to the official appearance. Re-downloading an owned theme does not charge credits again.
One Dark connects only to a verified Codex renderer through the 127.0.0.1 loopback interface. It does not replace the official executable, application resources, or code signature, and it does not read API keys, model settings, or project content. The watcher exits when Codex closes, and Restore removes the visual injection.
